Residency Compliance

The Lamar County School District is committed to the highest quality education possible for ALL Lamar County School District students. In our attempt to provide this, we unfortunately are faced with fraudulent enrollments coming from students living outside our district. Therefore, we have created a Residency Compliance Unit within the Lamar County School District Police Department. These officers will investigate these fraudulent enrollments to ensure that only full time residents of Lamar County School District attend our schools. The Student Handbook, identifies the documents that are necessary for your child to be enrolled in our Lamar County School District. Please take time to review a copy of the student handbook at your school or viewing it online at www.lamarcountyschools.org. These documents are necessary because they are required by both state law and district policy. Please bring ALL necessary documents for registration. You will not be allowed to register until the requested paperwork is provided.
