    November 6th is the second annual Dancing with the Stars Bobcat Style event! Come and out see your classy cat dance, classmates, and teachers dance the night away. Tickets can be purchased this week from a dancer or Mrs Holzinger-Kottemann for $2. Tickets will be $3 at the door. See you there!!

    Anyone interested in competing in the Poetry Out Loud Contest needs to sign up outside Mrs. Lawrence’s door by November 7. This is for anyone who appreciates poetry and would like to recite it with feeling. The contest is set for December 5.

    Beta Members will be collecting Socks for Soldiers and New Books for the Blair Batson Children’s Hospital during the months of October and November. Boxes are located outside Mrs. Flowers door.

     Seniors, be sure to get your $100 Senior fees paid.  Those can be paid to Ms. Pittman or Ms. Shumock.  Checks should be made out to SHS and you can pay in installments.  They should be paid in full by December 5th.

     If you know anyone who would like to be a substitute teacher for Lamar County Schools, please share the information below.

    SubTeachUSA will conduct new substitute teacher training Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at Oak Grove Primary School Multi-purpose Building from 12:00 pm--3:00pm and Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at Sumrall High School Performing Arts Center from 9:00 am--12:00 pm.   Those interested may contact SubTeachUSA at 800-641-0140 or visit www.subteachusa.com.  Applicants may attend either meeting.
